Il sera une fois un être indéfini qui cherche et cherche encore dans sa mémoire un souvenir du début de la fin.
Puisant dans les répertoires de la science-fiction, du roman-photo et du found-footage film, another picture for the end pose un regard mélancolique et mordant sur l’idéologie “long-termiste“ promue par les adeptes des solutions techno-scientistes.
Le film, jouant sur les effets de lisibilité et illisibilité des images générées par informatique, tente, par le biais des bugs et de l’humour noir, d’interroger les discours déterministes assénés par les décideurs politiques et économiques. En jouant sur les ambiguïtés du langage corporate et sur sa perte de sens, le film pose cette question : n’y a-t-il réellement qu’une seule fin possible ?

Once upon a future time, there is an undefined being searching and searching again in its memory for a souvenir of the beginning of the end.
Drawing on the repertoires of science fiction, the photo-novel and found-footage film, another picture for the end takes a melancholy, biting look at the «long-termist» ideology promoted by the proponents of techno-scientific solutions.
Playing on the legibility and illegibility of computer-generated images, the film uses bugs and black humor to question the deterministic rhetoric of political and econo- mic decision-makers. Playing on the ambiguities of corporate language and its loss of meaning, this project poses the question: is there really only one possible end ?
